The new campaign was presented to the public in March. It is intended to support the important work of the Kinderschutzbund, a child protection organisation which is committed to help children and families with over 400 local associations throughout Germany. This is more important than ever after the Corona crisis, which has once again aggravated the situation of many children and young people.
Companies can easily become part of the campaign
Any company that orders at least 96 printed FARE umbrellas and donates at least 100 euros can take part. Larger donations are possible and of course welcome – every euro donated goes directly to the Kinderschutzbund without any deductions. After participation, FARE applies the campaign sticker to the hangtags of all ordered umbrellas at its own expense and, if desired, also prints the campaign logo on the closing straps. In this way, the advertising company clearly demonstrates its social commitment and the umbrellas become emotionally charged.
And most importantly, the daily work of the Kinderschutzbund is supported in a very tangible way through the donation, thus doing something good for many children. In addition, the campaign itself and especially the campaign logo on the umbrellas will bring the Kinderschutzbund to the attention of many companies and consumers. It is hoped that this will result in further donations, initiate cooperation between retailers or companies with the respective local association and perhaps even motivate people to get personally involved.
Win-win situation: companies and children win
All participating companies receive a digital donation certificate, which they can use to report on their commitment to a more child-friendly society, for example on their company website and social media channels. For communication purposes, FARE also provides a package of texts and images free of charge, which the companies can access. The goal here is also: To spread the message of the campaign as far as possible in order to win as many new supporters for the Kinderschutzbund as possible. But the biggest winners are, of course, the children: because the donations make it possible that the Kinderschutzbund can continue to work for them nationwide.
Sustainable action for future generations – for the children and young people of today.
The use of environmentally friendly materials and resource-saving production techniques has been a matter of course for FARE for many years. Examples include the waterSAVE cover dyeing process, which saves around 6 litres of water per umbrella, as well as the climate neutrality of both the company since 2021 and the successful ÖkoBrella umbrellas since 2022. This attitude finds its logical continuation in the cooperation with the Kinderschutzbund, says Managing Director Volker Griesel: “Sustainable action is good for the environment. And what is good for the environment preserves it for future generations – for the children of today.”
